OK, my partner and i are truck drivers - can't get much more nomadic than that! but the truth is that we started our nomadic lifestyle before that, when we gave up our goodpaying jobs, packed up a little old camper and left our land in Vermont to travel the us. dog, cat 14-year-old kid and us, travelling the country wiht no fixed destination. and we haven't stopped travelling since (8 years), much to the dismay of our kids, family, friends and former community. see in vermont 'travelling' means going to florida. that's it. so... noone can quite understand. our current 'home' is a cabin on some freind's land in the sierra nevada foothills. no electricity or gas but plenty of warm wood heat and LOTS of kerosene lanterns. and we love it. but we are moving on to other adventures now - working on creating a women's household in austin tx. i am so excited to connect with ohter nomads - share adventures, living spaces, resources and ideas ...
