many homes and happily homeless

So... I've been travelin for 2 1/2 years now, splitting time between the US and Central America (mostly Costa Rica). Just a few days ago, I returned to my old home of Minneapolis MN and feel embraced by old friends and family... it's comforting to a nomad.

It's not the 1st time I've returned... I tend to do seasonal travels... every 3-6 months I roll back thru here for a moment before heading out again. But I envision it like classic nomadic culture. Nomads don't always traverse new territory... they keep seasonal camps. In spring there is a camp, summer likewise, winter for sure, and they plant seeds, and learn where food grows (or what dumpsters are abundant), and return occasionally when the season and timing is right.

After a recharge and a few weeks of work, I plan to roll west (again) to CO, work there for a bit, then back to work at BRC in Nevada, then back to CA for fall and winter. in each place, I keep up contacts here on tribe and myspace and phone and telepathy, to announce I'm around and try to connect to make magick.

So nomads and nomad hopefulls... this is what works for me... I've been planting seeds and looking for productive fields all over these continents... and routine makes the landings softer cuz friends and family welcome you home(less).
